Hi and thanks for visiting our Blog. We hope you enjoy this journal of our adventures (and occasional mis-adventures) on the UK's inland waterways. We have been cruising for 5 years now, on our boat nb SusieQ, on holidays and leisure breaks but have now taken early retirement since July 2010 and adopted the full-time life afloat. Our new boat, Adagio, is built specifically with living aboard in mind. We shall share with you how she works and performs through this Blog.

Lurcher Letter

Hey, everyone!  Something called 'Krissmas and Noo Yere' just happened.  It seemed to mean my people ate a lot and I got 'samples' of their food. It also meant family and stuff so Hairy Person came to stay.  He brought me a cool present.

I also got to go on my furry holidays for a couple of days staying with Sarah and her dogs.  We did running and stuff.  I had lots of fun and Sarah told my people I was very good so I can go again sometime.

There was fireworks on Noo Yere which I didn't like.  I growled and whoofed but everything was OK.


Now things are getting back to normal but we ain't cruising yet as there's work to do.

  1. Have a good year cruising, drinking, eating etc. Looks good. A big NB, too! Must have its moments, I'm sure! The dog looks fine in his new collar!
